Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the Stayve Europe website uses, what they do, how long they are kept and how you can change your choice at any time. It complements our Privacy Policy and follows the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), as implemented in Romania.
The website is operated by ZIEGERT SRL, Str. Sfântul Petru Tei nr. 59, Sector 2, Bucharest, Romania · CUI RO35793880 · Trade Register J40/3733/2016.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser when you visit it. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, work in the same way: they let a site remember information on your device between pages or visits. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of these technologies.
Cookies can be:
- first-party — set by the website you are visiting;
- third-party — set by another company whose service is used on the page;
- session — deleted when you close the browser;
- persistent — kept until they expire or you delete them.
2. The categories we use
2.1 Necessary — always active
These are required for the website to work and for the services you explicitly ask for. They do not need your consent under the ePrivacy rules, and they cannot be switched off from our banner. On this website they are two items kept in your browser’s local storage:
- stayve-consent remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner, so we do not ask you again on every page and so we know which optional categories you allowed.
- stayve-cart remembers the products you added to your cart and their quantities, so the cart stays filled while you move between pages or come back later.
Neither item is sent to our server or to anyone else. They stay on your device.
2.2 Analytics — off unless you accept
Analytics tools would help us understand how visitors use the website (for example which pages are visited most), in aggregated form. No analytics tool is active on this website at present. If one is added in the future, it will load only after you tick “Analytics” in the cookie settings, and this policy will be updated with its exact name, provider and duration first.
2.3 Marketing — off unless you accept
Marketing cookies would be used to measure advertising campaigns or show relevant ads on other websites. No marketing tool is active on this website at present. If one is added, it will load only after you tick “Marketing” in the cookie settings, and this policy will be updated first.

When you pay by card you continue to the payment page of Stripe (checkout.stripe.com), which sets its own necessary cookies to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. They are set by Stripe on its own domain, not by this website, and are governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
4. Google Fonts
To display the website’s typefaces, your browser downloads font files from Google’s servers (Google Fonts, provided by Google Ireland Limited). Google Fonts does not set cookies, but to deliver the files your browser has to connect to Google, which means your IP address and basic browser information are transmitted to Google and may be processed on servers outside the EU, including in the United States. Google states that this data is used only to deliver the fonts and to keep the service running. For details, see Google’s privacy policy.
5. How to give, change or withdraw your consent
When you first visit the website, a banner lets you accept all categories, refuse all optional categories or choose them one by one. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and nothing optional loads before you choose.
You can change your mind at any time — withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: Cookie settings. The same link is available in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything that happened before the withdrawal.
6. How to delete cookies and site data from your browser
You can also delete cookies and local storage directly in your browser. Doing so empties your cart and removes your cookie choice, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.
